The Path That Crosses the Woods. Chapter 1. Part I.
This tale is based upon my struggle overcoming bad habits in my spiritual journey..
And there I was, in front of the dark forest and that apparently insurmountable mountain.. Nobody can walk my path but me. Brother S told me that I should take His name and march ahead, eventually the victory would be mine, in due time. I would be lying if I say I wasn't terrified about what was coming into my way in the following days. I knew it, I heard stories of other yogis, but the path is personal. You can listen to many stories, but at the end of the day your own story will be totally different.
That day I began walking at 09 AM. It was a cloudy, windy day. I was told that to reach the foot of the mountain after crossing the dark forest would take almost 60 days, depending on my pace.
What were my provisions? His name and my will.
I can hear the voices of the tempting creatures calling out my name from the dark nooks of the forest but as the song that my Master wrote says, "I won't answer that mundane calling".
